Video you took of Fab Five unveiled 7th period.
Next we handed out the sketch a graph puzzle #2 which was the sketch a graph homework sheet we did yesterday cut into 18 pieces to be shuffled and rearranged as quick as possible. We did two timed competitions today where you try to beat your best time.
GOM2 (Graphs of Motion 2) Homework Sheet
Next we graded the GOM2 (green colored) homework sheet.
Blank GOM2 sheet.
Filled in GOM2 sheet period 8. We also read the story a French foreign exchange student wrote two years ago as another way to explain #3 on the GOM2 worksheet.

Big Pictures
1. The Fabulous Five Formulas was worth the time for a big production because they are the most used motion formulas on planet Earth. Learn all there uses...
2. Distance/time, Speed/Time, Acceleration/Time puzzles help hone your skills at understanding motion graphs for the same motion. Graphs are so much quicker to read (once understood) than looking at large data tables of numbers. Time is money and graphs same time and are easier to understand for many people than numbers.
3. Number 3 graph on GOM2 can be explained by many vary different stories (like the French foreign exchange student above's story) and can add to the fun of understanding motion graphs.
4. Numbers 7 and 8 on the GOM2 worksheet demonstrates how the area under a velocity/time graph actually gives you the distance traveled (the integral for you AP Calculus students) and the area under a acceleration/time graph gives you the velocity (again the integral).
