Great America Day 2013

Here is a list of everyone who was suppose to go to Great America today May 1st 2014.  Sorry you couldn't make it  spring athletes and Showtime seniors!

For those that had to Stay Home because of Showtime or sports.  Here is the worksheet they worked through with Ms. Wernicke (Stay at Home Worksheet). 
Here is the website for the Gravitron YouTube ride [make sure you close the profane words on the beginning text screen if you have one and mute the sound in case some words that shouldn't be said are said] because all you need to do is time the shadow go by a given number of times to get the period.  I started about 2.5 minutes into the video and started my stopwatch when the shadow crossed the E on Exit at the top of the ride.

2014 2nd Semester Physics teachers take their first ride after grading papers all morning.  Thanks Ms. Wernicke for taking care of all the Physics students not able to come and getting them through the Stay At Home Lab.

Now Toni, Sabastian and friends get out of the rain for awhile.

Mrs. Donahue takes her first amusement park ride today, the Little Dipper ride helps her get ready to teach Astronomy in the future.  Thanks Mr. Hagstrom for giving her a shoulder to lean on and Mr. Konichek for trying to make the ride more exciting with narration.
