We did a 'Lights off Learning' for the above story and fundamental forces.

3.  Study the following vector thought problem:  Strongman Challenge

Next we did a demonstration where the toughest students could volunteer to raise a 10 N weight hanging from the midpoint of a section of rope that they pull opposite directions on and try to get the rope horizontal.

The below sketch points out why this is impossible to do.  Left on home computer and will load later.

4.  Handed out the review sheet to start working on before tomorrow.
