Edward Frank & Mary (Mezera) Konichek's tombstone in the Calvary Cemetery Frenchtown, WI
Edward was born 1886 and died in 1953 when I was a year old and was surviving near death because of being anemic and my folks (Leo & Dorothy) and my brother (Floyd) had taken me up to Tomah, WI to Dr. Robert Konichek (son of George & Christine Konichek) who saved me by a blood transfusion from my dad immediately. While in Tomah they received a call that Edward had died. Dr. Konichek ended up bringing me to his brothers funeral as my family had to leave before I could leave.
Mary had real real long hair but you wouldn't know it but I arrived early one day and she had her hair down. My grandma always curled her hair up in a pyramid on top of her head.
4) Edward & Mary Konichek's children are:

A photo of my Uncle Art's Tombstone in Calvary Cemetery Frenchtown I personally took

I have fond memories of my Aunt Mamie always being a extremely positive person as in NEVER complaining or gossiping
I made another whole window for my Aunt Mamie & her family with photos.
5) Leo Francis Konichek 1920-1992 (my dad) lots of stories about my dad on the next window
5) Elsie T Konichek 1925-2011 my Aunt Elsie was also a sweetie, she lived 1 block south of me and two blocks
blocks east of me (so nearer the railroad tracks) in a new ranch home that she kept immaculate
her husband my Uncle Sam was a logger and I very seldom saw him
their only daugher Sharon (like her mother) is a sweetie - always so pleasant to be around but
five years older than I am so I very seldom saw her. My sister Donna probably saw her more.

Annie died before I was born. I just always heard how her and her newlywed husband
were the most perfect couple ever created and there dieing in their sleep from carbon monoxide
was extremely hard on my dad and their families.
Here is the story of Annie (Konichek) & Anthony Jelinek tragic death as newlyweds in their sleep
