Sept. 14th Measurement Lab
Allowed students time to finish the Physics 500 Lab and (if possible finish) the Measurement Lab. Same lab partners. One graph for both is you is good enough for the Physics 500 lab and if you are sliding the lab into the R: drive...you do not need a cover page or a diagram for the procedure but you do need a Purpose, Procedure, Data Table, Graph(s), Calculations (if your toys in the Physics 500 Lab had a best line fit with an equation then for your calculations you can just put, "refer to the graph as the slope of each graph is the speed in each equation of the lines y = mx + b where b = 0" otherwise you need to do average speed = slope = rise / run for each toys data.), Questions for the Measurement Lab, group conclusion (based on your purpose), and group summary.
If you were gone today:
The materials for the labs are in the back of the classroom till the end of next week so find someone who has done the lab (any of the 11 Physics classes) and get the data collected ASAP. Check with your partner in case he/she placed your name on the lab already and turned it in. (If that is the case, it is up to you whether you wish to do the lab yourself and turn it in a second time with only your name on it...?)
